Indigenous Research Opportunity

SPARC BC is excited to announce a new request for proposal (RFP), which will support Indigenous research and evaluation into BC’s community social services sector.  This research call hopes to attract project proposals that focus on Indigenous issues and perspectives related to the community social services sector.

In particular, research examining 1) system perspectives and impacts, 2) volunteerism, 3) post-secondary linkages to the sector (or developing Indigenous human resources and leaders for the sector), and/or 4) lived/living experiential knowledge and peer-support will be closely considered.  Projects focused on specific Indigenous community social services, reconciliation, institutional decolonization, and trauma-informed practice are also welcome.

This funding opportunity will remain open until November 2023 or the Indigenous Research allocation is fully awarded. For more information, please read the full RFP description here
